Mar, Apr, and May (Spring Season):
March, April, and May months are the spring season in Nepal. It is neither too cold nor too hot. But the temperatures will still get colder at the night. The day is long and the night is shorter during these months. Nepal's national flower rhododendrons also blossom during this months making the forest colorful and alluring on the trekking route. Crystal clear weather makes the sky blue and the best time to observe the magnificent white peaks to the north of Nepal. These months are the first premium season of the year to visit Nepal and the best time to do trekking and tours.
Jun, Jul, and Aug (Monsoon Season):
June, July, and August are the monsoon season and not favorable months to visit Nepal. Weather is hot, wet with high humidity and rains almost every day. Several landslides and road blockades might create a problem during your visit. Not only that but also there are lower chances of seeing enchanting mountains due to the cloudy weather. So, we do not recommend to travel Nepal in these months.
Sep, Oct, and Nov (Autumn Season):
The second premium months of a year to visit Nepal are September, October, and November. The monsoon rain washed away all the dust and clouds making the sky clean and blue and the perfect time to visit Nepal. These months are the peak tourist season in Nepal and lots of tourist can be seen in every trekking routes and tours destination. It is recommended to book your accommodation, flight tickets, and guides in advance before visiting Nepal. Almost all the hotels used to get fully occupied during this season. Also, Nepal's biggest festival Dashain and Tihar are fallen under these months.
Dec, Jan, and Feb (Winter Season):
From December, winter season begins to enter in Nepal and last till February. The weather becomes chilled during the morning and night time and the warmer in the sunny day. Occasionally snowfalls might occur at the higher elevation in trekking route. Weather used to get clear also in these months and somehow the good time to visit Nepal's Terai Region.
So, we recommend you to visit Nepal during Spring and Autumn Season if not possible then Winter Season. March, April, and May are the first best season to visit Nepal. Afterward, September, October, and November are the second best season of the year to visit Nepal.
